The Kotobuki the second floor

The Kotobuki (Room of Joy) was built in the Shoin style of traditional Japanese residential architecture, this room was originally Prince Fushimi-Higashi's study and is one of the most popular guest rooms with our foreign visitors.
The Fuku the second floor
The Fuku (Good Luck Room) and the Hana (Flower Room). The Hana opens out to a sunny terrace designed to present a magnificent view of Daimonji and the entire range of Kyoto's eastern mountains.

      
The Kogane the first floor
Beyond this central space are the Kogane (Gold Room) and, the Nanten (Heavenly Bamboo Room) where small private parties are held and couples can experience an intimate dinner and overnight stay.

Hanare - The detached room (Private Cottage) - The Satsuki



The terraceBuilt in the Sukiya style of traditional Japanese residental architecture, the Satsuki Cottage is constructed entirely of Kitayama sugi (the prized cryptomeria of northern Kyoto). Whether utilized as a private teahouse or secluded abode, this refined dwelling abounds with the feeling and fragrance of Kyoto.
